On September 27, the chairman of Ningde era (300750), Zeng Yuqun, said at the World Conference on new energy vehicles that since the founding of Ningde era, he aimed at fixed fossil energy substitution, mobile fossil energy substitution, the integration and innovation of market applications will gradually build a panoramic and integrated zero-carbon solution.

According to Zeng Yiqun, the traditional infrastructure is transportation, power supply, water conservancy facilities, etc.; While the "zero carbon new infrastructure" is to realize zero carbon emissions as the core, through scientific and technological innovation, the new business model promotes the upgrading of infrastructure and builds an efficient, intelligent and zero-carbon infrastructure system.

Zeng Luqun added that so far, lithium battery recycling in Ningde era has ranked first in the world for many years in a row, and lithium-ion battery recycling has also achieved the first large-scale industrialization in the world. The company has 270000 tons of waste batteries processing capacity, in the future, it will reach 1 million tons of waste battery recycling capacity. It is estimated that by 2042, half of the batteries produced in Ningde era will be recycled lithium and half of the batteries will be used mineral to meet the needs of the society.

Meanwhile, Ningde era is rapidly promoting the implementation of the zero-carbon strategy. At present, the company has nine battery factories that have obtained the "zero carbon" certification. Next year, the company's battery factories will all become "zero carbon factories". By 2035, the company will achieve carbon neutrality in the battery value chain. By then, all the batteries produced by the company will be "carbon neutral".

Zeng Luqun also revealed that Ningde era is jointly carrying out the pilot project of battery passport with the global battery alliance, and released the first batch of battery passports in last January. Soon, new battery passport standards will be released, it will become the "pass" for batteries to participate in the new zero-carbon infrastructure ".

In Zeng Yiqun's view, "zero carbon new infrastructure" cannot have depressions and isolated islands, but a global ecology that is open and co-created.
