Three Departments Jointly Issued "Guidelines for Health Assessment of Lithium-Ion Batteries for Electric Bicycles"
On December 12, in order to accurately identify the stock of electric vehicles lithium ion battery leading to potential safety hazards and reducing the occurrence of electric bicycle fire accidents, the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration of market supervision, and the State Fire Rescue Bureau jointly issued the guidelines for the health assessment of lithium ion batteries for electric bicycles. The document points out that lithium-ion batteries with obvious damage in appearance, no label identification, voltage over 48V or used step-by-step use all have health risks, and it is recommended to scrap them.
