Bick Power Has Achieved Technological Breakthroughs in Semi-Solid Polymer Batteries.

time:2024-12-25

On December 24, Changxin technology replied to the company's solid-state battery layout on the investor interaction platform.

Changxin technology said that the company's main business is touch display products. The company's shareholding company Bick power has achieved a technological breakthrough in semi-solid polymer batteries and started to sell to the outside world, its semi-solid vehicle specification lamination R & D products are expected to be delivered externally in 2025.

According to Bick Power's previous disclosure, Bick semi-solid battery adopts a composite system of polymer + oxide, and forms a polymer framework with high ionic conductivity between positive electrode, negative electrode and separator through in-situ curing technology, the liquid electrolyte remains 1% ~ 10%, and finally achieves the high performance index of high safety, high energy density, long service life, wide temperature area and high power.

On the basis of intrinsic safety, the current semi-solid state of Bick power battery Products the highest energy density can reach 320 Wh/kg, and the path of all-solid-state battery is continuously explored. The energy density reaches 500 Wh/kg; At the same time, it has excellent wide temperature performance, in the temperature environment of-30℃ ~ 85℃, the charging and discharging cycle can be stabilized; The cycle life of more than 1500 times can prolong the service life of terminal products.

In the market, Bick semi-solid battery has been tested in new energy vehicles, two-wheel travel, eVTOL aircraft, explosion-proof products, consumer digital and other application markets, and the market volume is approaching.

Bick power revealed that the company will launch 390Wh/kg semi-solid products at the end of 2024, which will be used in the fields of unmanned aerial vehicles and electric vehicles. In 2026, the target energy density of Bick semi-solid-state battery will reach 450Wh/kg, and it is expected to transition to all-solid-state battery in 2028. At the same time, Bick power is also laying out all-solid products in the new direction, which is expected to be launched in 2030.

Bick battery is also actively promoting the product upgrade of batteries in other packaging forms such as cylinder and square, and promoting the integrated development of "semi-solid + sodium electricity". With solid-state battery technology, inject surging power into full matrix products and global applications.
